The NDL will accept ILL/DD requests via email from registered users and institutions outside Japan that are unable to use the Japanese-language version of the NDL-OPAC. This service starts on a trial basis from April 1st.

The efforts to achieve an extended access to the NDL digital collections from abroad have reached a new stage. The draft to change the respective law/regulations has been issued.
